Getting StartedYour community, worlds and tools in one dashboard.

What is it?

FORTECA brings community worlds and services together. GRiD is the dashboard where you check worlds, find tools, listen to music and arrange the information you want to see.

What does it show?

The main dashboard contains Fehu Realms, Other Realms, FORTECA Multiverse, Identity, PULSiX, Activity Stream, Fehu Radio and Network. Some information depends on a recent report or your account access.

What can I do here?

Explore the public panels, open a world for connection information, follow a community shortcut or use ACCOUNT to sign in with Discord. You can read this guide as a guest.

How do I use it?

Start with a realm row, then check its status and connection details. Use the panel buttons above the dashboard to show the panels you need. Select HELP whenever you need an explanation. The FORTECA home page offers Continue with Discord to enter the sign-in flow.

Read the label, not just the color

ONLINE, OFFLINE, CHECK and NO DATA describe different results. A missing value does not mean zero. Reports can arrive at different times, so a world status and its detailed measurements may not update together.

Header & NavigationHome, GRiD, LAB, fullscreen, themes and search.

What is it?

The header and the toolbar below it are your main navigation controls. They remain available in the dashboard and the MEDIA view.

What does it show?

GRiD links to the dashboard; LAB opens the linked laboratory site. GLOBAL REACH shows reported visitors, country flags and country totals. The community age counter shows elapsed time since the configured founding date.

What can I do here?

Choose a theme, enter or exit fullscreen, switch panels, open MEDIA with the Fehu rune, search the web, open HELP or reset your layout. Visitor figures and the age counter are information displays, not account controls.

How do I use it?

Select GRiD to return to the main dashboard. Use the expand icon above the theme selector for fullscreen; click it again or use the browser's fullscreen exit control to leave. Enter words in SEARCH / COMMAND and press EXECUTE or Enter to open Google search in another tab. This toolbar search is separate from the search inside HELP.

Country strip and shortcuts

Scroll the country strip to see more flags, or focus it and use your browser's scrolling keys. The rune beside EXECUTE opens MEDIA. HELP opens this guide. RESET restores the default panel layout. LAB and external links take you to their own destinations; availability and access there can differ from GRiD.

Theme selector

The palette icon identifies the theme menu. Current choices are Classic, Neon, Valheim, GTA, Cosmos, Aurora, Zombie Pandemic, Yggdrasil, Alien and Planets. Select a name to apply its appearance. Your choice is remembered in this browser.

Panels & Window ControlsArrange panels, reopen closed windows and reset your layout.

What is it?

Each dashboard section is a panel with its own window controls. The panel strip above the dashboard acts as your panel dock: it gives you a way to reopen a hidden panel.

What does it show?

The minus button minimizes, the square button maximizes and the cross closes a panel. The panel strip lists the panels available in the current view, with a state reflected in the button and its tooltip.

What can I do here?

Keep a panel header visible while hiding its contents, enlarge one panel to fill the view or close panels you do not need. These actions change your view; they do not delete a service, account or its data.

How do I use it?

Click minus to minimize; click the resulting plus to restore its contents. Click the square to maximize; click the changed square again, or press Escape, to restore its size. Click cross to close. To reopen a closed or minimized panel, select its named button in the panel strip. Selecting an already open panel button hides that panel.

Saved layout and RESET

Open, closed and minimized panel states are remembered in this browser. Realm-group folding is remembered separately. Maximizing is temporary. RESET restores default panel states and expands realm groups; it does not reset your account or theme. Browser storage restrictions can prevent preferences from being remembered.

Group arrows and MEDIA slots

The arrow beside a realm-group title folds only its list. It is separate from minimizing the panel. In MEDIA, profile and logos share the left slot, while staff and the media stream share the right slot. Opening an account panel replaces its paired media panel. Staff controls remain restricted to authorized accounts.

Fehu RealmsWorlds, player counts, world days and availability.

What is it?

FEHU REALMS lists the main Fehu game worlds. OTHER REALMS groups additional worlds. These lists help you find a world and check the latest available status before joining.

What does it show?

The main list contains 10th World, Adventure, Dominion, Conquest and Immersive. Other Realms currently lists Buildheim, Blackheim, Vanilla and Black Vanilla. Rows show a world name, running Valheim version, status, and available DAY and PLAYERS values.

What can I do here?

Expand a world to read its address, port and reported measurements. You can fold each group with its title arrow and arrange the whole panel with its window controls.

How do I use it?

Click a world row, or focus it and press Enter or Space. Its details appear directly below it. Click the same row again to close them; selecting another world replaces the open details. Use the shown connection information in the game's server browser and follow that world's joining requirements. Selecting a row does not launch a game or grant access.

Status, DAY and PLAYERS

ONLINE means the current availability check reports the world online. OFFLINE means that check reports it unavailable; STOPPED can appear when a fresh game-host report says the world is not running. CHECK means a check is pending; NO DATA means a usable result is missing. DAY is the reported game-world day. PLAYERS shows current players and reported capacity. A value such as --/-- means counts are unavailable, not that nobody is playing.

World identity

Names, runes and symbols help identify worlds. Hover a displayed flag icon for its label where one is supplied. Availability alone does not confirm that your game version, modpack or account meets a world's requirements.

Server DetailsUnderstand connection details and available game telemetry.

What is it?

Server details are the expanded information beneath a selected world. They separate the world's connection information from its available game-server measurements.

What does it show?

IP and PORT identify the public game host and selected game port. STATUS shows the available report state. PLAYERS / SLOTS shows occupancy and capacity. FPS, FRAME and RAM describe the game process when a fresh supported report exists.

What can I do here?

Read the connection fields, check how recent the report is and expand REALM DETAILS when the world has a description. Host-wide CPU, storage, network and uptime measurements are in PULSiX rather than this game-process view.

How do I use it?

Select a world row. Read IP and PORT for connection information, then check STATUS and LAST UPDATE before interpreting the other values. Select REALM DETAILS to show additional world guidance when that disclosure is present.

What each measurement means

FPS is server frames per second; FRAME is reported time per frame in milliseconds. RAM is memory used by the game process in MB. WORLD DAY and WORLD TIME describe the game's clock. SAVE is the reported save state. LAST UPDATE shows the age of the detailed report in seconds; PLUGIN identifies its telemetry version.

Unavailable measurements

N/A, -- and NO DATA mean the page lacks a usable value for that field. An online availability check can coexist with missing FPS or RAM because those values require a separate fresh report. Multiverse games may offer connection information without the Fehu-specific world or plugin measurements.

FORTECA MultiverseExplore the other game worlds listed by FORTECA.

What is it?

FORTECA MULTIVERSE is the dashboard's list of game worlds beyond the main Fehu groups. Each row represents a configured game destination.

What does it show?

The current list includes Soldat, HumanitZ, Project Zomboid, OpenTTD and Enshrouded. Rows show names and availability results; detailed values depend on what that game reports.

What can I do here?

Open a row to inspect its connection details and any available description. Use the shortcuts beside HELP to return to the FORTECA intro or open linked community destinations. Codex is in PHOTON quick access.

How do I use it?

Select the game you want to inspect, read its address and port, and use that game's own joining controls. Click the row again to collapse its details. The group title arrow folds the list, while the panel strip can reopen the whole panel after you close it.

Different games, different reports

A game can be listed without supplying world-day, frame or memory telemetry. Read missing values as unavailable information. The list is a guide to configured destinations, not a guarantee that every game is online or accessible to every visitor.

Discord IdentitySign in, open your account and understand community presence.

What is it?

IDENTITY connects your FORTECA session to your Discord-based account. The account page holds your profile and the account actions available to you.

What does it show?

The panel header shows GUEST or your display name and an ACCOUNT link. The avatar strip shows up to nine people reported online on FORTECA, with a +count for additional people. Placeholder initials can appear when an avatar is unavailable.

What can I do here?

Use ACCOUNT to sign in or open your account. The Discord icon opens the FORTECA community invitation. Account roles and permissions determine access to restricted tools; an avatar does not indicate a role or game-world membership.

How do I use it?

As a guest, select ACCOUNT and follow Continue with Discord. When signed in, ACCOUNT opens the account workspace in a new tab. Use the profile page's available controls to review your details, account role and membership options. Use its logout action to end your FORTECA session.

Presence and permissions

Hover or focus a populated avatar to read the person's name and ONLINE label. Presence describes reported FORTECA activity, not players inside a game or all Discord members. An account role is managed through the account system; choosing a theme or reopening a panel cannot change your permissions.

Restricted account controls

The account workspace can show PROFIL and, for authorized administrators, STAFF. Guests are asked to sign in. If a tool still reports access required after login, review your account access or ask the community staff through Discord.

PULSiXRead PHOTON, QUANTUM and NEUTRON monitoring at a glance.

What is it?

PULSiX is the dashboard's infrastructure monitor. It helps you understand the available host reports behind the website, game worlds and VPS services.

What does it show?

PHOTON is the CORE host, QUANTUM is the GAME host and NEUTRON is the VPS card. Each card shows available CPU and RAM use, RX/TX network rates, UP uptime and storage rows. The header reports how many hosts have fresh telemetry.

What can I do here?

Switch a host between its overview and diagnostics with the stethoscope button. Hover status or storage rows for extra explanations. QUANTUM also offers AMP and TxAdm1–3 links to their own management panels, which have separate access requirements.

How do I use it?

Start with the health label and freshness. Read CPU and RAM percentages as reported use; the bars visualize those values. RX/TX means incoming and outgoing traffic rate, and UP is time since the host started. Click the stethoscope for HEALTH, SMART drive checks, RAID storage checks, TEMP, NETWORK and SAMPLE information; QUANTUM also shows SAMBA. Click it again to return to the overview.

Health and freshness

OK means the available checks passed. PARTIAL means some checks are unverified. WARNING and CRITICAL identify reported concerns; hover the badge or warning symbol for context. STALE means a sample is too old; NO TELEMETRY means there is no fresh usable host sample. ACCESS REQUIRED means that report is restricted. In the host count, OFFLINE means no fresh sample, so it does not by itself prove a powered-off machine.

Storage labels and NEUTRON

Storage rows show capacity and, when verified, available space and usage. EXPECTED values are configured capacities, not measured free space. NOT CONNECTED identifies an unconfigured or absent slot. QUANTUM's RAID member rows can describe the same shared filesystem; do not add their free-space values together. NEUTRON can supply limited CPU, RAM and uptime while storage, network and hardware diagnostics remain unavailable.

Activity StreamFilter observed events and follow their timestamps.

What is it?

Activity Stream is a log of observed dashboard and telemetry events. It helps you see what changed while using GRiD.

What does it show?

Entries have TIME, TYPE and MESSAGE columns. The status and last-update time describe the current telemetry connection. Events can include world availability, player-count changes, host reports and actions in the current dashboard session.

What can I do here?

Filter entries with ALL, SYSTEM, COMMUNITY or MEMBER. Scroll the list to read older displayed entries. Profile names or activity text, when supplied, describe the event; they are not account-management controls.

How do I use it?

Select ALL for every available entry, SYSTEM for service and telemetry changes, COMMUNITY for observed world status, player counts and world days, or MEMBER for actions in your current session. On narrow screens the labels shorten to SYS, COM and MEM. Read the message alongside its time and type to understand the event.

Connection labels and scope

CONNECTING means an update is pending; LIVE means system telemetry was received; OFFLINE means that telemetry is unavailable while session activity can still be recorded. The stream is not a complete Discord history or a guaranteed player-by-player game feed. Entries can name an actor when an observed event supplies one, but there is no profile browser in this list.

Fehu RadioTracks, playback, shuffle, volume and seven-day mute.

What is it?

FEHU RADIO is the dashboard's audio player for the supplied music library. The current player uses tracks grouped in its selector; it has no separate live-station selector.

What does it show?

The panel shows a track menu, previous/play/next buttons, shuffle, current time and duration, a position slider, VOL and MUTE. The status can show STANDBY, CLICK TO PLAY, PLAYING, PAUSED or AUDIO ERROR.

What can I do here?

Choose music, play or pause it, change tracks, enable random selection, seek within a track and adjust volume. MUTE silences the radio for seven days in this browser; select it again to restore sound earlier.

How do I use it?

Choose a track and press the middle play button if playback has not started. The side buttons select the previous or next track. The crossed arrows toggle shuffle. Drag the position slider to seek and VOL to change loudness; keyboard arrow keys also adjust focused sliders. Use MUTE when you want the dashboard to stay quiet on later visits.

Automatic playback

The first click attempts to start playback; mouse movement also attempts it when the browser permits. CLICK TO PLAY means the browser needs a gesture. On a first visit, tracks follow the selector order and loop. Later visits in the same browser begin with a random track and shuffle enabled. A manual pause is respected by later page gestures.

When audio is missing

Check MUTE, VOL, the browser tab's mute state and the selected track. AUDIO ERROR means that track could not be played. Select another track to see whether the problem is specific to the file. Closing or minimizing the panel is a layout action; use pause or MUTE to control sound.

Network & ClientsVPN reports, FORTECA TRAY and service availability.

What is it?

NETWORK brings together service checks, VPN reporting and FORTECA TRAY. FORTECA STORAGE is below Activity Stream. These are separate signals, so one can be available while another is not.

What does it show?

VPS & API shows active SSH sessions on PHOTON, active anonymous Tray installations, known installations from the last 90 days, heartbeat, WEB and REALM API checks. VPN shows CLIENTS, AGE and report status. FORTECA TRAY shows connection status and version. GATEiX shows the authorization API, registered Clan Warfare servers and their last checks.

What can I do here?

Expand the sections, follow VPN.FORTECA.NET, refresh the Tray check, download the Windows Tray Plugin or open a storage shortcut. These dashboard controls show status and open services; they do not configure a VPN or authenticate you inside a multiplayer game.

How do I use it?

Select the VPS & API disclosure to read the checks. Use VPN.FORTECA.NET to open the VPN service and follow its own access instructions. The circular-arrow button requests a fresh Tray and heartbeat check; the download icon downloads the helper package. Run an installed helper normally if you want its device status to be available to GRiD.

Reading client reports

WEB and REALM API can show response time in milliseconds. Installation pings expire after 180 seconds and are not the same as authenticated users. N/A session counts mean no count is supplied. CLIENTS is the reported VPN count; AGE tells you how old its report is. REPORTING indicates a recent report. OFFLINE, UNKNOWN, STALE or CHECK should be read with the specific service label.

Tray, GATEiX and game access

FORTECA TRAY describes the local helper connection. OFFLINE can mean that the helper is absent, stopped or unreachable from the browser. GATEiX lists registered server IDs and recent authorization checks without exposing keys or private IPs. Multiplayer authentication and world joining remain in their respective game or service workflows; Discord sign-in and a working VPN do not guarantee game access.

Storage & DriveFind file services and understand storage availability.

What is it?

FORTECA STORAGE below Activity Stream links to file services, while PULSiX reports host storage.

What does it show?

FORTECA STORAGE lists the VPN SAMBA address and links to Google Drive, FORTECA DRIVE and STORAGE. PULSiX shows HDD, added-storage and QUANTUM SAMBA measurements when those reports are available.

What can I do here?

Open a storage link and use the access granted there. Check available-space reports in PULSiX. The SAMBA tile does not grant access or assign a drive letter; share permissions remain enforced by the SMB server.

How do I use it?

Select a FORTECA STORAGE tile to open its service. Allow GRiD local network access when your browser asks. SAMBA checks whether your local FORTECA TRAY can reach the VPN share. Select the tile to open it in Windows Explorer when reachable; otherwise it copies the path. Explorer may request your share credentials. To assign a drive letter, use Map network drive in Windows. Follow each service's own sign-in and file instructions. For storage status, open PULSiX and read the row's capacity, available space and usage; hover it for more context.

Configured space versus usable space

EXPECTED capacities describe configuration, not confirmed access or free space. NO TELEMETRY and UNKNOWN mean a report is missing; NOT CONNECTED means that storage slot is absent or unconfigured. Shared RAID figures can refer to one filesystem. File-service access and VPN requirements are independent of the dashboard's appearance and panel layout.

Media & CommunityBrowse the logo archive, media stream and community links.

What is it?

MEDIA is a separate dashboard view for the FORTECA logo archive and configured media stream. Community destinations remain available through the dashboard's links.

What does it show?

LOGO SLIDESHOW displays archived logos; ADVERTISEMENT // MEDIA STREAM displays configured images, video or embedded media. Counters show the current item and total, with navigation arrows and slide dots when items are available.

What can I do here?

Move between items, select a dot and use playback controls when supplied by embedded media. Local video items can play automatically while muted. The shared header, theme, panel controls and HELP remain available in MEDIA.

How do I use it?

From GRiD, select the Fehu rune beside EXECUTE or the MEDIA control in the top toolbar. Use previous/next arrows or dots to choose an item. Logo slides and eligible media items also advance automatically. An external-stream placeholder opens its linked destination. Use RETURN TO GRiD in the panel strip to return to the main dashboard.

Community destinations

The Discord icon in IDENTITY opens the community invitation. Steam and Codex tiles open their configured sites; Back to Intro replays the FORTECA introduction; Tip4Serv opens the support page. A destination may require its own account. Empty media counters or NO LOGOS AVAILABLE mean no usable archive items were supplied, rather than a hidden account feature.

AppearanceChoose themes and keep your layout comfortable to read.

What is it?

The theme selector changes GRiD's supplied visual themes while retaining the FORTECA identity. The panel controls let you reduce how much information is visible at once.

What does it show?

Themes use different header artwork, colors, borders and glow. HELP follows the active theme, using the same panel surfaces, colors, borders and accents as GRiD.

What can I do here?

Choose an existing theme, maximize a panel for more room or close panels you do not need. Browser zoom can increase text size. The current interface has no independent color picker, border, glow, contrast or density sliders.

How do I use it?

Open the Theme selector in the header and choose a preset. Your selection is remembered in this browser. Use the browser's zoom controls if you want larger text, and use the panel strip to keep only the panels relevant to you. RESET restores panel defaults; it does not choose a different theme.

Readable HELP on every screen

The guide adapts to narrow screens. Search for a topic or use category navigation to jump to it. Your device's reduced-motion preference is respected. Tab moves through controls; Enter or Space opens a focused category. You can expand or collapse all matching categories with the buttons near search.

What is it?

This section collects common questions about using the current dashboard. It helps you distinguish a layout choice, missing report or access requirement.

What does it show?

The solutions below cover hidden panels, missing measurements, sign-in, sound and navigation. They use the controls already present in GRiD.

What can I do here?

Try the relevant check without changing account permissions or service settings. Use the Discord invitation in IDENTITY if you need community assistance.

How do I use it?

Search this guide using words from the label you see, such as NO DATA, MUTE or RESET. Open the matching category to follow its steps. Clear the search to show all categories again.

Where did my panel go?

Select its named button in the panel strip. Plus restores a minimized panel; RESET restores the default layout. If a realm list alone is hidden, use the arrow beside its group title.

Why is an online world showing N/A?

Availability and detailed game reports are separate. FPS, frame time and process RAM require a fresh supported report. Wait for another update; missing values are not zero and do not confirm the world has stopped.

Why does PULSiX say OFFLINE while the site works?

Its host count uses freshness of telemetry. No fresh sample is different from a failed website. Check NO TELEMETRY, STALE or ACCESS REQUIRED on the host card.

Why is a tool locked after I sign in?

Your account may not have the required access. Open ACCOUNT to review your profile and membership options, or ask community staff through Discord. RESET and themes cannot change permissions.

Why is the radio silent, or playing when its panel is closed?

Check MUTE, volume and the browser tab's sound setting. CLICK TO PLAY needs a playback gesture. Pause or MUTE controls sound; panel Close controls the layout.

Why is FORTECA TRAY offline?

Check whether the installed helper is running and use the refresh icon. If no helper is installed, the download icon provides the Windows package. A missing local helper does not mean the game host is offline.

How do I leave an enlarged panel or MEDIA?

Use the panel's restore-size button or Escape to leave maximized mode. In MEDIA, select RETURN TO GRiD. Close HELP with its cross or Escape; keyboard focus returns to the HELP button.

Why were my preferences forgotten?

Theme and layout preferences belong to the current browser and origin. A different browser, private window, cleared storage or switching between main and GRiD origins can have separate saved preferences.
